This identifier code is \u2013 with very few exceptions \u2013 part of the BIC for the payment service provider that issued the <a href=\"https:\/\/archief.betaalvereniging.nl\/en\/payment-products-services\/iban\/\">IBAN<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For SEPA transactions from or to a Dutch scheme participant account, the Dutch Payment Service Providers (PSP) provide a single BIC per PSP. The BIC list of the Dutch Payments Association mentions this single BIC for each PSP in the Netherlands, to be used in SEPA transactions.
