The conference was entirely devoted to collaboration in payments, a topic that Gijs has promoted with conviction and dedication throughout his career.<\/p>\n<h3>Program<\/h3>\n<p>The program offered a rich variety of reflection and looking ahead. Arlette Broex and Gertjan R\u00f6sken kicked off, followed by Inge van Dijk (DNB), on the evolution of collaboration in payments over the years. Martijn Snoep (ACM) discussed the limits of cooperation within the legal framework. Gijs then spoke with Arlette and Gertjan about the future of collaboration in an increasingly international and technologically complex landscape. This conversation was recorded as a <a href=\"https:\/\/vriendvandeshow.nl\/nieuweknikkers\/episodes\/samenwerking-om-te-overleven-gijs-boudewijn-directeur-betaalvereniging-nederland-live-vanaf-zijn-eigen-afscheidsevent\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">podcast by <em>De Nieuwe Knikkers<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The speakers and podcast recording were alternated with live music by the <a href=\"https:\/\/airestropicales.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aires Tropicales Quintet<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Farewell<\/h3>\n<p>The formal farewell was announced by Gottfried Leibbrandt, chairman of the Payments Association, paying tribute to Gijs for his many years of service and presenting a lifetime achievement award.
