The first billion iDEAL payments took nearly eleven years to complete. The second billion required less than three years.<\/p>\n<p>In 2018 consumers are expected to make more than half a billion iDEAL payments.<\/p>\n<h2>FOOD PACKAGES FOR FOOD BANKS<\/h2>\n<p>To mark the milestone of 2 billion payments, Currence iDEAL, the brand and product owner of iDEAL, will donate several thousand food packages to food banks around the Netherlands.
