Online payments

Dutch residents have online access to their payment accounts through their banks' online and mobile banking environment

In addition to online card payments, Dutch residents have several options for payments via online or mobile banking, on a desktop, smartphone or tablet:

• With  iDEAL and mobile requests-to-pay
• With (instant) credit transfers
• With direct debits based on e-mandates

The Payments Association keeps track of developments and innovations in online payments, digital identification and e-mandates.
