Gijs Boudewijn elected new Chair of the European Payments Council
Source : European Payments CouncilOn 18 December 2024 the General Assembly of the European Payments Council (EPC) has elected Gijs Boudewijn as its new Chairman for a two-year term, effective 11 June 2025. This allows for an adequate handover by the current Chairman, Javier Santamaría. On 1 June 2025 Gijs Boudewijn will retire as Managing Director of the Dutch Payments Association.
